PLAXIUS
His earth identity its translated to Marco Torres, a 30 years old Chilenian, computer businessman, creator of the E-zine “Proyecto R”, and collaborator of some underground internet publications. His interest by electronic music arises at the age of 11 when listens by first time Jean Michel Jarre and starts to play with his first bontempi keyboard. Since that has been a long trip discovering sounds and different styles arriving to the psychedelic scence as a simple listener around year 2003. He has been participating actively on the diffusion of Chilenian Trance, organizing parties, promoting new Djs and producers at national level. In the search of new diffusion media and in contact with the “Trance tribe”, he founds with some friends the internet portal www.zonatrance.cl. His musical style not defined yet its based on influences like Depeche Mode, Front 242, Kraftwerk, Jarre, Nitzer Ebb, 2cv6, Miradas y Doncellas, Arteknia, Aphex Twin, and more.. Its under this influences that his music sounds like old school stuff, but always trying to get an unique sound.
